  • Mark Your Calendar for the Axelrod Buick GMC "Drive for Schools" Event!

    Community/Business/School Partner Barry Axelrod of Axelrod Buick GMC has offered our district a one day event in which his dealership will donate $20 for every individual who test drives one of their vehicles on that day. Drivers MUST be 21 years or older to participate.

  • High School Summer School Information

    The PCSD High School Summer School program provides students in grades 8-12 with the opportunity to recover course credit through our virtual summer school. New this year: students can take Math and English for first-time credit! Courses are offered in the Parma Senior High Red Rees Conference Center. There are two time slots: 8:00-10:00 or 10:30 - 12:30.

  • STEM and Arts Summer Academy Registration Now Open

    The STEM and Arts Summer Academy is for students who are completing kindergarten through seventh grader and also incoming kindergarteners. There are two three-week sessions: Session 1 is from June 15- July 3 and Session 2 is from July 13 – July 30 (no classes will be held on Fridays or the week of July 6). The STEM and Arts Summer Academy will be held this year at Shiloh Middle School.

    Congratulations to Alexis Ziemski, the PCSD Student of the Week! Alexis is a senior at Valley Forge High School already earning a respectable career as a fine art photographer. Her work has been featured in magazines, newspapers and even the New York Time Square Billboard.

  • 8th Grade Parent Notice: ACT Aspire Results Information

    Eighth graders in the Parma City Schools are being provided this month with the results of their ACT Aspire assessment. The ACT Aspire is a tool which helps individuals to measure their college and career readiness. Please review the schedule below to learn when your child has or will receive his or her results so that you can discuss them together.

    Congratulations to the PCSD Students of the Week: Jace Marxen and Jake Minut. Jace (NHS) and Jake (VF) are students enrolled in the Auto Mechanic class, and placed fourth in the Ford/AAA skills competition.

  • Cleveland Indians "Night at the Ballpark" Survey

    The Parma City Schools are pleased to now count the Cleveland Indians as a Community/Business/School Partner in our district! As part of the district's Strategic Planning "Pride Action Team" initiatives, we are working together with the Cleveland Indians to hold a "Parma City Schools Night at the Ballpark" this summer.

  • Compensatory Education Notification

    The Parma City School District is currently working to resolve and make restitution for an issue that has regretfully impacted some of our students with disabilities whose school day was shortened by way of early dismissal during the 2013-2014 school year, 2014-2015 school year, or both.
