    PCSD Introduces "The Everywhere Classroom" 1-1 Technology in 2014-2015 School Year

    Parma City School District’s 2014-2015 school year marks the introduction of The Everywhere Classroom (TEC) in which a technological device will be distributed to more than 11,000 students in Kindergarten – 12th grade. The program is being implemented to advance student learning, prepare students for state-mandated online testing requirements, and ensure graduates are college and career ready.

    PCSD Welcomes New Principal to Ridge-Brook Elementary

    The Parma City School District welcomes Stacy Lambert-Johnson as the new principal of Ridge-Brook Elementary School. Lambert-Johnson joins the district after several years an elementary principal, and prior to that, a teacher with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. She replaces Principal Regina Ohlrogge, who retires this year.

  • Alumni to Host Tailgate Parties this Fall

    Alumni Associations for Parma High, Normandy, and Valley Forge will be tailgating at the first home football game of the season for each high school. The associations are looking for members of the Classes of 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014, but hope to have members of many classes in attendance.

  • Free and Reduced Meal Notice

    Parma City School District today announced its 2014-2015 program year policy for free and reduced priced meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program. Each school office and the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

  • PCSD Receives $732,000 Straight A Grant

    The Parma City Schools have been awarded a Straight A grant from the State of Ohio in the amount of $732,646.96. The purpose of the grant will be to enable parents to become more actively involved with their children’s education with the help of training provided to families by classroom teachers.

  • Register Now for Fall!

    It's time to register your child for the 2014-2015 school year! Parents registering prior to August 1st should call Student Services at 440-885-8794. Parents registering after August 1st may simply stop by the Student Services Department located in the Administrative Center at 5311 Longwood Avenue in Parma. Registrations are taken between the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm.

    Pursuant to Sections 121.22 and 3307.353 of the Revised Code, notice is hereby given that a current administrator of the Parma City School District, Karen Velbeck, is intending to retire on or about July 1, 2014 and is seeking to be reemployed by the Parma City School District Board of Education after such retirement.
