  • PCSD Now Accepting Applications for Interim Superintendent

    The Parma City School District is accepting applications for interim superintendent now through July 13th at 4:00pm. Interested candidates should possess a superintendent’s license and submit a resume, letter of interest, and three (3) letters of reference to Pamela Bartkowski, Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer, at 5311 Longwood Avenue, Parma, Ohio 44134 or bartkowskip@parmacityschools.org.

  • Two Teachers Honored by the State

    Each year the Ohio Association for Adult and Continuing Education (OAACE) honors a select few outstanding adult education instructors. This year the honor hits close to home. Two of the instructors from the Parma Adult Education ABLE (Adult Basic and Literacy Education) program were chosen among the top instructors in the state.

  • Congratulations Nancy Fedak: Parma's Citizen of the Month!

    Congratulations to Nancy Fedak, who was selected as the City of Parma's June "Citizen of the Month". A wildly popular choice for the honor, Nancy Fedak was greeted with a standing ovation in Council Chambers last night before the presentation was even made. Too numerous to mention, Nancy's volunteer affiliation with many Parma groups makes her what nominator Dianna Kall called "the consummate citizen."

    Mark your calendar for August 29th and join the PCSD family for a Night at the Ballpark with the Cleveland Indians! The Cleveland Indians will be playing the Angels at 7:10pm--there will be fireworks, and the first 10,000 fans will receive a Gomes jersey. Be sure to come early to catch the PCSD student parade!     Parma City Schools Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online program which will enable you and your student to complete & file MOST athlete forms electronically. FinalForms is immediately available for all Parma City School District athletes.

  • Free Summer Meal Programs

    Children in the Parma City School District have two opportunities for free meals this summer. Please help us to spread the word so that no child goes hungry when school is not in session. Please note that the programs serve youth ages 1-18, and meals must be consumed on-site.

  • Public Notice: Free and Reduced Lunch Policy for 2015-2016

    Parma City School District today announced its 2015-2016 program year policy for free and reduced priced meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program. Each school office and the central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

  • High School Summer School Information

    The PCSD High School Summer School program provides students in grades 8-12 with the opportunity to recover course credit through our virtual summer school. New this year: students can take Math and English for first-time credit! Courses are offered in the Parma Senior High Red Rees Conference Center. There are two time slots: 8:00-10:00 or 10:30 - 12:30.
