    The Parma City Schools Board of Education held a Special Meeting on August 19th to hire Mr. Carl Hilling as Interim Superintendent of the Parma City School District for the 2015-2016 school year, effective Thursday, August 20th.

  • Tech Levy Will Support Future Ready Students

    In the PCSD we believe that technology is a key component of helping students to become “Future Ready” as they prepare for college and careers. Just as textbooks were the mainstay in education in the past, we now use technology to provide many instructional resources. In order to make the best use of technology, it is critical that equipment and technical infrastructure be up to date and well maintained. To meet this need the Board of Education has passed a resolution asking that a 1.9 mill Education Technology Special Revenue Levy be placed on the fall ballot.

    Shuttle schedules for high school students enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs are now available. Please note that there are two schedules posted, one for the first day only, and a second which shows times for daily shuttles throughout the 2015-2016 school year.

    Parma City Schools and UH Parma Medical Center have partnered together for a Healthy Kickoff to the 2015 school year. Sign up for the UH Parma Medical Center 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk for Wellness, held Saturday, Aug. 22 at 9 a.m.. When registering online, select your respective school and the school with the most participants will receive a Smoothie Party courtesy of UH Parma Medical Center.   • Interim Superintendent Update

    The PCSD Board of Education passed a resolution in a special board meeting last night to rescind the support for and authorization of the employment of Ms. Corr-Saegert as Interim Superintendent. Parma Senior High Principal Dr. Chad Coffman, was named temporary interim on August 1, and will continue in that capacity as the process continues.
