Voice Thread for March and April 2010
Hi, this is Ray Rockwell, Assistant Principal at Shiloh Middle School reporting to you on the March and April activities here at school.
I want to remind parents of students going to Washington DC in June should be bringing home medical request forms that need to be filled out as soon as possible so our nursing staff can go through them for the trip. And roommate request forms. I remind you that all students must be in a room of four individuals. Again, those must be turned in the second week of March. Please refer to this Web site for further information.
On March 18 we will be having spring pictures.
On March 24, is our first senior day. Seniors in our cluster will be invited to come to Shiloh from 7:00 to 11:00 A.M. We will have a brief introductory activity in the media center. Seniors will be given a tour of the building and then we will have a question and answer period at the end. We will give them an update on the normal activities during our school day. Seniors must RSVP from the paper they received in the mail to be participating in those activities on the 24 from 7:00 to 11:00A.M.
On March 26, there is no school for students. That is the end of the third marking period.
On April 2 report cards will be mailed home. That is Good Friday. We will not have school on that day. Spring break begins on April 2 and classes resume back on April 12.
I want to remind parents that the in April OAT testing will begin on April 19 and go through April 30. Please mark your calendar for those days. Make sure the kids get adequate rest and nutrition for this important testing.
