IT TAKES TWO
The district will present voters with two levy issues on the May 4, 2010 ballot.
ISSUE 9
This is a NO TAX INCREASE RENEWAL levy. Renewal of this levy WILL NOT affect your property tax bill.
ISSUE 10
This is a 5.5 mill ten-year emergency request to fund daily districtwide operations. If approved, the owner of a $100,000 home will see their property tax bill increase by $14 per month or $168 per year.
If both levies are approved, the Board of Education will restore the devastating reductions to student learning that have occurred as a part of the $15.4 million in cuts made since April 2008.
