 The 40 Developmental Assets

The 40 Developmental Assets were created by the Search Institute, a nonprofit organization. Their mission is to provide leadership, knowledge and resources to promote healthy children, youth, and communities. The 40 Developmental Assets are positive experiences and personal qualities that all young people need to grow up healthy, caring and responsible.  "Strong Parents, Strong Families"

"Strong Parents, Strong Families" is an opportunity for parents and caregivers of children and teenagers with complicated emotional needs to share support and information in a friendly, supportive environment. "Strong Parents, Strong Families" meets on the last Thursday of each month, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church 8911 W. Ridgewood Dr. Dinner and childcare is provided at no charge to the family. Speakers, resources, and information are available at each meeting. Click here to see this months topic of discussion.
 Suicide Prevention Education Alliance (SPEA)

The Suicide Prevention Education Alliance of Northeast Ohio works to education parents and their children about the behaviors that may lead to suicide. Studies indicate that alcohol and drug abuse are second only to depression and other mood disorders as the most frequent risk factors for suicide. Suicide is preventable with the proper help.
